Welcome to the new YMCA of the East Bay Website!

Our new Website puts you in touch with all of the services, programs and opportunities found at the YMCA of the East Bay.

Each of our 10 locations has its own section of the Website where you can read about their programs and decide which ones meet your needs: child care, youth sports and teen activities, literacy enrichment, health and wellness programs, summer camp or activities for seniors.

"The new Website as a vital tool for telling our story about building the spirit, mind and body of children and teens, families and individuals through programs that are unique to each community we serve," said Robert Wilkins, CEO of the YMCA of the East Bay.

The photos on the Website reflect the inclusiveness and diversity of the YMCA's members and participants: men, women and children of all ages, religions, ethnic backgrounds and abilities. As Downtown Oakland YMCA member Arthur Siu said, "The Y is all about the people. It's a warm, friendly place."

Future phases of the site's development will add even more convenient tools. You will be able to join on-line, register for programs and apply to work at the YMCA. Keep checking back for these developments.

Founded in 1879, YMCA of the East Bay operates 11 facilities (10 operating branches and the headquarters office) located throughout the East Bay and 54 school-age child development sites. Our staff of nearly 900 full- and part-time employees serves nearly 30,000 members and program participants.
